Half the Sky:
Turning Oppression into
Opportunity for Women Worldwide

 

Learn about the worldwide movement transforming the lives of women and girls and unleashing their potential for self-sufficiency and economic progress.  Pulitzer Prize winning journalists (husband-wife) Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn take the reader on a journey through Africa and Asia to meet the extraordinary women struggling and succeeding against great odds.  Click here for more information on the book and the movement that it has started.  Come and be inspired to make a difference in supporting the cause of women’s development around the world.
