SPRING AT THE ADOPT A CARE MISSION.
Winter continues to linger as we reflect on the wonderful memorisl we had for our founder and mentor in the area of Special Needs. Dolores Shafer was Blessed to be a Blessing and will be missed by the Ladies Bible Class, the Pastors who would mark the day by the passing of her bus, The Sunday Fellowship Group, the Children's Ministry, Adult Ed, so many friends, family and co-workers- including the Adopt a Care-center Mission. We held our first meeting for the 2008 Pirate Bash and Seafair-76 Holiday Cruise on March 26th. We include the minutes and list of discussion point for your reflection. There will be a follow-up session at Seafair Headquarters in May, DTBA.
This year's Pirate Bash will be on Saturday September 6th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The Seafair-76 Holiday Cruise will occur Sunday December 7th, 2008 between 3:30 and 6:00 pm. It is a ways off to be sure but mark you calendars and plan on attending one of the upcoming briefings between now and then.
