Mission at North Creek

Statement of Purpose

We are called by God to send congregational resources to do the work of compassion and justice, serving the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people outside our local congregation for the purpose of fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20) by proclaiming the gospel of Christ, making disciples and relating to the whole need of all peoples.

North Creek currently supports:

  • 18 local mission ministries
  • 1 disaster relief team
  • 5 global missionary partnership organizations
  • 3 international missions with ongoing, long-term direct support relationships.

The local missions focus on assisting the marginalized and homeless, elderly, people with disabilities, prison ministry, church planting, employment assistance, food bank, fellowship, sister church relationships, counseling services, evangelism for youth and support for Tall Timber (a Presbytery retreat camp near Lake Wenatchee).

The disaster relief team focuses on assisting the hurricane Katrina and Rita victims through sending teams and financial help.

Partnership organizations are a unique way to be involved with efforts to support agencies that minister to unreached people groups (UPG) through indigenous missions.  Two groups that NCPC supports are represented by members of our congregation who are actively employed as missionaries.
